Register First Year Students

Registration and admission

Does Stedelijk College Eindhoven suit you?
On this page you can find all information about application and admission for school year 2024-2025 for first grade.

Registration

Do you choose Stedelijk College Eindhoven and would you like to apply with us? We would love that!

This year the application process for secondary schools in the Eindhoven Kempenland region is different from usual. All secondary schools in this region have to use a new, central digital application system via LDOS. Via your primary school, you will receive login details with which you and your parent(s)/carer(s) can log in to www.ldos.nl. Between Monday 25 March and Sunday 31 March, you can indicate your school preferences digitally.

You do not actually have to come to our school to register, but we would really appreciate it if you could still come by so we can meet in person. Do you need help or do you find it difficult to apply digitally? Then you are also very welcome, we will be happy to check with you!

Would you like to come by? Send us an e-mail and we will look at the possibilities to get to know each other.

There are three exceptions where a registration interview is mandatory. We therefore ask you to bring a valid identity document and the school recommendation from the primary school:

  • you want to make use of a priority rule;
    (you already have a brother or sister at our school or one of your parent(s)/carer(s) is employed at Stedelijk College Eindhoven)
  • you come from a primary school outside the Eindhoven Kempenland region and therefore did not receive a login code for LDOS from your primary school.
  • you are transferring from Stedelijk College Eindhoven EOA or Global College Eindhoven to the first grade;

Below you can find the school-specific application forms:

Application form for pupils year 1
Application form for pupils years 2 to 6

We would like to ask you to download these, fill them in and bring them along during your personal meeting. If you do not come along, you can of course also e-mail it to us or send it to us by post.

Admission

The pupils who have applied to us are all discussed by the members of the admissions committee. It decides in which section and which class a pupil will be placed; the advice of the primary school is leading in this.
The advice contained in the educational report and the information resulting from the warm transfer between the primary school teacher and the admissions committee lead to an admission decision.
When a pupil (with at least a mavo/vmbo-t recommendation) applies for one of the programmes at the Henegouwenlaan, he or she is in principle assured of a place, provided we can meet the required guidance profile and the pupil has been assigned to our school by the Regional Collaborative Association for Appropriate Secondary Education in the Eindhoven and Kempenland region.

Important information after final placement via the central system
You and your parent(s)/carer(s) will be able to see which school you have been assigned to via the parent portal from Thursday 4 April 12:00 noon. In the parent portal, you confirm your attendance at that school. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from the school to which you have been assigned.
Have you been assigned to our school but have not yet attended an introductory meeting? Then join us on Thursday 4 April between 14:00 and 17:00 so that we can meet.

Message about admission
We will send you the final decision on admission by Wednesday 8 May. The primary school of origin will also be informed. If you are admitted, we will ask your parents/carers to return the reply form to the Henegouwenlaan location. On this they declare their acceptance of admission. This confirmation must reach us by Friday 17 May 2024. The letter also states what you can do if you disagree with the admission committee’s decision.

Preferred
On the reply form, you can mention who you would like to join the class with. We will try to take this wish into account. If possible, your place of residence will also be taken into account in connection with cycling to school together.

Introduction
You will receive a letter in June telling you which class you have been placed in.
On Wednesday 19 June 2024 is your introductory afternoon when you will meet your learning coach, the mini learning coaches and your classmates. During this afternoon, you will also receive information about the new school year, which will start on Monday 19 August 2024.
