Multilingual education

Language Opens Doors
Language helps you discover the world around you. It makes it easier to connect with others, explore different cultures and gain a broader understanding of what is happening around you. That is why language plays an important role at Stedelijk College Eindhoven.

You do not only learn languages in language lessons. You also use language in other subjects, during projects and when working with students from different cultural backgrounds. This helps you develop not only your language skills, but also your confidence and communication skills.

Learning in an International Environment
At our school, you are encouraged to look beyond your own surroundings. Through international activities, projects and encounters with different cultures, you will discover just how diverse and connected our world is. You will learn to be open-minded, collaborate with others and develop skills that will be valuable throughout your future education and career.

Language Learning Tailored to You
Every student is different, with their own background, interests and way of learning. That is why we offer a variety of opportunities in the field of languages.
Students in havo and vwo can choose Bilingual Education (TTO), while mavo students can further develop their English through Powerful English.

Is Dutch not your first language? Then you can benefit from our Dutch as a Second Language (NT2) support programme. Step by step, you will build your Dutch language skills, enabling you to follow lessons confidently and develop a strong foundation for your future education.

A Wide Range of Languages
In addition to English, German, French and Spanish, you can also explore languages such as Arabic, Chinese, Polish, Italian and Turkish. Learning a language is about more than words and grammar. It also helps you discover the people, cultures and stories behind the language.

Whether you would like to learn a new language, develop your skills in an international environment or need support with Dutch, Stedelijk College Eindhoven offers a wide range of opportunities to help you grow. In doing so, you will not only learn more about languages, but also about the world around you.
