Support tailored to your needs

Everyone needs a helping hand sometimes
You are at the centre of everything we do. Everyone’s journey is different, and sometimes you may face challenges where a little extra support can make a real difference. Together with you and your parents or carers, we look at what guidance and support will best suit your individual needs. This allows you to focus on what really matters: learning, developing your talents and enjoying your time at school.

Exploring the possibilities together
We believe that effective support should be tailored to each student. That is why we always take the time to talk with you and your parents or carers. Together, we look at what is going well, where challenges may arise and what support might help you succeed. We work closely with your learning coach and other members of staff to make sure you receive the guidance you need. Our goal is for you to feel valued, attend school with confidence and have every opportunity to achieve your full potential.

A positive and supportive school experience
Support is about more than simply helping when something is difficult. It is also about providing care, encouragement and an environment where you can be yourself. That is why we work hard to create a safe and welcoming school where students feel supported and where there is always someone ready to listen and help. Whether you have a quick question, need temporary support or would benefit from more specialist guidance, we will work with you to find the approach that suits you best.

How can we help?
Every student is unique. For that reason, we tailor our support to your individual needs. Through our Student Support Team, a range of specialists work together to ensure that you receive the guidance and assistance that is right for you.

We can provide support in areas such as:

  • dyslexia and other learning support needs;
  • ADHD or ADD;
  • autism spectrum condition (ASC);
  • high sensitivity (HSP);
  • physical disabilities or long-term medical conditions;
  • support with concentration, sensory processing or executive functioning skills;
  • social and emotional challenges, such as low confidence, performance anxiety or difficulties with social interaction;
  • questions or concerns relating to behaviour, wellbeing or emotional regulation;
  • support for situations at home that may affect progress at school;
  • support when returning to school after illness or a period of absence;
  • mental health and wellbeing support.

Whatever challenges you may face, we will work with you to ensure that you receive the support you need to feel confident, successful and able to thrive at school.
