Voluntary parental contribution

Voluntary parental contribution
The parental contribution is voluntary and is used for accident insurance, use of facilities in the media library, a school pass, a locker and for fun activities, such as class outings, school parties and excursions.
In addition, we ask for a voluntary contribution for some extra activities we organize, such as special education programs, trips and exchanges.
Paying this contribution is not mandatory, but it is appreciated. This contribution allows us to make education even more fun and challenging for everyone.

For some subjects, which fall outside the voluntary parental contribution such as physical education or drawing, there may be additional costs for special activities or materials. We also ask for a contribution for exams or extra activities for bilingual education.

Voluntary parental contributions 2025-2026
The voluntary parental contribution is € 90,- and is composed as follows:
Activities, class outing, school celebrations, contribution parent council and excursions.

Besides the above-mentioned voluntary parental contribution, we also ask for a voluntary contribution for a number of subject-specific extra activities/educational programmes in which pupils participate.

  • Class camp first year
    € 110,-

  • Physical education as an exam subject (costs for additional activities and participation workshops outside the curriculum)
    € 45,-

  • Drawing (additional materials to be purchased by students)
    € 30,-

Bilingual education
Costs include participation in Cambridge, exams and extra tto activities:

  • Year 1 → €170,-
    * This includes the €90,- voluntary parental contribution.
    * This excludes the costs of the bridge camp of €110,-
  • Year 2 and 3 → € 245,–
    * This includes the €90 voluntary contribution
  • Year 4, 5 and 6 → € 180,-
    * This includes the €90,- voluntary contribution.

Billing
In the autumn, parents will be sent an invoice that includes the voluntary parental contribution. Paying this voluntary parental contribution is obviously not compulsory but if parents wish to pay this contribution, it is greatly appreciated. It enables us to make our education more attractive and challenging. If desired, there is the possibility to opt for an instalment payment. Exchanges and trips
For participation in the various exchanges and trips we organise, we will always let you know in good time what costs are involved. You will then receive a separate invoice. This contribution is also voluntary. For exchanges and trips that we organise, we apply the condition that there must be a sufficient number of paying participants so that the financial risks are limited to an acceptable level.

Damage
The school is not liable for damage to clothing, scooters, bicycles, bags, books, teaching materials or other belongings. The school is also not liable for theft or loss of your own belongings. Damage caused by your child to or in the school will be repaired at your or your child’s expense.
