Register First Year │mavo-havo-vwo

Registration first year students │mavo-havo-vwo

How does the central registration system work?
In the Eindhoven-Kempenland region, all secondary schools work together with one central digital system: LDOS (www.ldos.nl). This system ensures that as many pupils as possible are placed at their first-choice school. All schools indicate in advance in LDOS how many places they have available in the first year. LDOS then automatically assigns all pupils to a school, taking into account their stated order of preference as much as possible.

What does the registration process look like?
The registration week for secondary education is from Wednesday 25 March 2026 to Tuesday 31 March 2026. Your parents/guardians will receive login details for LDOS from your primary school so that they can register you. During that week, you and your parents/guardians will submit a list of four preferred secondary schools in LDOS. Put the school you would most like to attend in first place. You are allowed to put a maximum of two types of transition classes, in line with the school’s recommendation, on your list of preferences for the first school.

Do I need to schedule an enrolment interview?
An enrolment interview is only mandatory if you have not received your login details for LDOS. If you have received your login details but would like to visit us so that we can help you enrol, you are more than welcome! From Wednesday 18 March 2026, you can make an appointment via our website to visit us on one of the following days:

Wednesday 25 March 2026 between 14:00 – 18:00
Thursday 26 March 2026 between 16:00 – 20:00

Please bring your ID card or passport and proof of the primary school’s recommendation so that we can help you with your enrolment as best we can.

Do you apply priority rules?
Our school does not apply priority rules. If you put our school as your first choice, you are basically guaranteed a place, provided that:

  • you have received appropriate advice;
  • we as a school can provide the support you need;
  • and you have been assigned to our school by the  Regionaal Samenwerkingsverband voor Passend Voortgezet Onderwijs regio Eindhoven en Kempenland.

When will I know which school I have been assigned to?
On Thursday 2 April 2026, from 3.30 p.m. onwards, you will be able to see which school and which type of first year class you have been assigned to via the parent portal in LDOS (this does not mean that you have been definitively admitted; you will be notified of this by 12 May 2026 at the latest). You will receive a confirmation email from the school to which you have been assigned. To complete your enrolment at our school, we need some additional information. We therefore ask you and your parent(s)/guardian(s) to complete our school’s enrolment form. This form must be completed and signed digitally via our website by Friday 10 April at the latest.

When will I be informed about which school I have been definitively admitted to?
We will send you the final admission decision by Tuesday, 12 May 2026 at the latest. Your primary school will also be notified.

When will I get to know my new school?
On Wednesday 24 June, we would like to see you at the introductory afternoon. During this afternoon, you will meet your learning coach, the mini learning coaches and your classmates. You will also receive information about the new school year, which will start on Monday 24 August 2026.

Extra support

Our school offers many opportunities for pupils who need extra support. We engage – together with the pupil, parents/carer, the primary school and, if necessary, the relevant care services – in a dialogue to see what is best for the pupil. When a pupil comes to our school and needs extra support, we like to hear about it in good time. Early on, we can then make a personalised plan. For more information and consultation or to make an appointment about this, please contact our support team via email.
